How it works

Anybus Modbus to BACnet / KNX gateways

Modbus RTU devices are connected to a serial port of the gateway, while BACnet MS/TP and KNX TP use the second serial port. Modbus TCP and BACnet/IP networks share the same Ethernet port. With this flexible architecture we have created a Modbus to BACnet gateway and a Modbus to KNX gateway.

Anybus M-Bus to Modbus TCP

Get data on consumed electricity, water, gas etc. straight into your PLC system, including building parameters which otherwise have to be checked separately. It Provides M-Bus Master to Modbus TCP Server connectivity, decodes M-Bus telegrams and maps meter values to Modbus registers. In addition, using an Anybus X-gateway, you can connect your M-Bus meters to almost any PLC control system.

Mixing Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU devices on a KNX network

In this application, Modbus TCP servers and Modbus RTU slaves connect to a KNX/TP network.

Adding M-Bus meters to a Modbus TCP control system

Getting M-Bus meters into a PROFINET Control System

In this application,M-Bus electricity, water, gas meters and sensors connect to a PROFINET control system by connecting the Anybus M-Bus to Modbus gateway to an Anybus X-gateway. The X-gateway provides Modbus TCP Client functionality on one side, and PROFINET server functionality on the other.
